There used to be a blog network – remember those – back in the early, naive days of blogging that had an awesome way of drawing you in with their wonderful “Copyblogger-inspired” headlines.
There was one problem, though. The content nearly always never matched the grandness of the headline. They were usually 250-300 worded posts that said very little; hence it was quite obvious that they were after quantity and not quality.
They were, in essence, looking at the numbers: get enough numbers and sponsors would sign on.
Sorry, but that was a big turn off for me.
Today, that blog network no longer exists in its current form – far from it.
Why am I telling you this obscure story?
Easy really. As you can tell from this post’s very own headline what I am trying to say is that the articles and posts here on HomeOfficeVoice will be fully based on the quality of the subject; the effort will be made to write intriguing, thought provoking and intelligent pieces. There will be no fluff here.
When I got back into HomeOfficeVoice late last year and was planning it’s re-launch, I thought long and hard about the “Business” plan behind the comeback.
I didn’t want to end up a like a machine squirting out 250-worded posts 5-8 times a week just so I could grab a little coin from AdSense – I’ve been there, done that and it’s a bitch of a life.
What I have this time round is a growing list of subjects that I want to discuss.
These subjects all have a relation to running a business from home. What’s more, I want to be delving into topics, digging beneath the surface and giving you the real goods.
HomeOfficeVoice will deliver 2-3 posts a week but I can say this with full pride: those posts will be all quality. They will deliver!
The HomeOfficeVoice Business Model depends on it!
