Basically here are the specs:
My name is Martin Neumann, in my mid-30’s and born and bred and still residing in Melbourne, Australia.
HomeOfficeVoice - this very blog - was my first blog way back in 2005 and I wrote tons and tons of stuff - good stuff, rubbish and the odd rant or three. Then I had a mini blog meltdown and sacked myself and turned this place into a money making (ugly) monster.
During the ensuring years 2006 and 2007 I can safely say that I have been all over the place. For you see, I’m an ideas guy. Add to that a serial entrepreneurial streak and an impulse to do things yesterday.
I’ve started various projects: ePublishingDaily, KickstartPress, TheBlogColumnist, SmallOfficeMedia, SmallOfficeLists, SmallOfficeHerald and I’ll stop there so as you don’t click the backwards button on your browser thinking this man’s a freakin’ manic. ;-)
I still run some of those projects (but to a much lesser extent) but I’ve decided to go back to where it all started - use what I’ve learnt over the few short years and carry on the HomeOfficeVoice tradition.
I’m also heavily influenced by information products as a viable business model so expect to be sold to - but I’ll use a softly, softly approach - I promise!
What else can I say about us/me?
For you Aussies out there - I’m one-eyed Magpie supporter and a cricket tragic.
Oh, and I’m not the serious type (mostly), I love a good laugh and I love to converse, network, comment all over the place and make new blog friends and all that goes with it. I’m open to all suggestions and feedback, joint ventures, partnerships, guest post invites (hint, hint) … and that’s probably about it.
I do have a tendency to rock the boat on occasions and push people’s buttons. They call it being a shit-stirrer. The “Blogosphere” calls its “snark”. But snark is so yesterday so I’ll try and keep my snark quota down as much as possible.
