I'm not one to push any and all affiliate programs down your throat - in fact, come to think of it, I don't believe I've ever in my 10+ years online promoted a product or service as an affiliate ... until now!

SimpleTicket

by Martin Neumann ~ March 1st, 2007

SimpleTicket, the first Ruby on Rails based trouble ticket system released as an open source project. Built as an alternative to expensive and complicated ticking systems like Remedy and Heat, SimpleTicket is perfect for: Internal IT Support Teams (up-to 10,000 end users) and Small IT Support Companies (1-40 technicians).

The demo’s didn’t work (not a very good start) so instead I asked around my network of online friends to seek out their views (or if they’ve heard of SimpleTicket). The response was generally positive with quite a few saying it did a good job of dealing with help tickets. One was using it as his tickting system of choice for his small web hosting company.
