MeasureMap

Measure Map provides free, easy stats for your blog. Measure Map helps you understand what people do at your blog, and what influence you are having on the world.

MeasureMap is now a part of Google - in other words, Google liked it so much that it bought it. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing - we’ll just have to wait and see what Google does to it. I’m hoping it leaves it as it is.

In blogging circles it’s all about the stats these days - Who are your readers? Where do they come from? How long do they stay? And so on …

MeasureMap does all that and in a pleasant environment. It’s more visually-based rather than pure numbers, and for many people that is all they want and need. Watching your statistics can become addictive and you can easily “drop the ball” by feeding that addiction - so why complicate matters any more. That;s why I really like MeasureMap.

But (and there always is a “but”) I like a bit more meat with my statistics but I’m happy to use MeasureMap as one part of my overall statistics solution. It gives me a different look at the what/who and how of my readers.

Currently they are not taking any new sign-ins … not really sure where that’s heading, but you can leave your email address and they’ll let you know when they;re ready (hint: to Google/MeasureMap - be quick on this as we’re easily distracted and can just as easily move on to the next best thing.)
